Petersen Engineering with offices in Boston and Portsmouth, NH is a national MEP/FP leader in sustainable building design including design of more than 50 large +/-$25-$100 million Passive House projects including 4,500 units of housing. We are a dynamic small firm that’s growing to meet the rising demand for engineering high-performance buildings and are looking for an experienced electrical engineer that is excited to be part of a sustainable MEP/FP engineering firm.
We have a forward-thinking, friendly, and honest culture and are seeking a can-do candidate that has exceptional client facing skills, has a thirst for learning, and mentoring junior staff with the capacity to collaborate in integrative design processes with multiple stakeholders.
· 3-5 years of experience engineering electrical systems in a variety of building types, multi-family, educational, healthcare, and mixed use preferred
· Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, excellent communication skills and a team player
· Revit proficiency
· BSEE from an ABET accredited program
Compensation and Benefits
Our salaries and Paid Time Off are competitive with those offered by other MEP/FP firms in the Northeast. The position pays $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience and knowledge. We also offer health, dental and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and a company 401k with a match of up to 4% based on your contribution of 5% of your salary as well as reimbursement for public transportation and parking costs at our Boston office.
